  31. rates per log file. It uses the real time setting on your computer to maintain

  36. on a work machine and a portable simultaneously) and subsequently combine
  37. client records for billing purposes. LOG works in DOS or OS/2. (We added the
  38. author's initials to the file name to distinguish it from other programs of

  45. an entry is appended to a log file and not closed until your enter MYLOG/O. To
  46. get a report of the log, just enter MYLOG/L. There are several options for
  47. listing data in the file or, since the file is stored in straight ASCII text,
  48. you can edit it with a word processor. It automatically calculates time
  49. elapsed between logging in and out.

  51. Since MYLOG takes command line entries, you can make it part of a batch file
  52. that calls your application program and you will never notice it until you
  53. need it. For example, create a batch file named, say, WP-LOG.BAT which
  54. contains the three lines: (1) MYLOG/I %1 (2) WP %1 (3) MYLOG/O. Note that the
  55. %1 parameter both serves as a description for MYLOG and lets you pass a
  56. filename to WP.

  129. select the "edit" mode. Still, these are rather minor nits, and this appears
  130. to be an excellent program.
